Bombay Talkies is an upcoming movie that is a compilation of four short films by Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee. This movie is said to be a tribute to Indian cinema, as it celebrates 100 years of its completion. The audience will get to see a handful of Bollywood stars making cameo appearances.
Mashkoor Raza is a Karachi based artist who is ranked amongst the senior most artists in the country. He is best known for painting horses and women a lot. Mashkoor Raza graduated from Karachi School of Arts in 1972. Early on, he showed the signs of a painter who was determined to make it big in the world of artistry. His success is contributed to creating an original work that has become his signature style.
Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai is a famous Sindhi Sufi scholar, poet and mystic. He is held in great esteem and is considered as the greatest poets of the Sindhi language. His popularity isn’t confined to the Sindh region as his compiled works have been translated in Urdu, English and other languages.
Church World Service Pakistan/ Afghanistan (CWS) in collaboration with Punjab Lok Sujag (PLS) held a launching seminar of The Pakistan Election Compendium 1970 – 2008 on 18th April 2013 at Shelton Greens Hotel in Peshawar. Professor Ijaz Khan and Dr. Khadim Hussain; political activist were among the Guest Speakers. Mr. Mansoor Raza represented CWS.
