Under Aurat Foundation and USAID, Interactive Resource Center (IRC) brought to the federal capital another interactive theater this time focusing on “Domestic Violence and Masculinity”. The event was held on 12th June 2013 at National Press Club attended by 60 members of the civil society. Aurat Foundation is implementing a five year USAID supported Gender Equity Program in collaboration with Asia Foundation.
A provincial focus group meeting was arranged on Election 2013. The main objective of the meeting was to safeguard the rights of minorities during the election process. In order to fulfill the aforementioned objective, a group was gathered that would serve as a means to spread the message onwards. The speakers told that it is a long-term strategy and will not be confined to the election process.
