Tora Bahraam Khaana – Hamayoon Khan
This is a traditional, classic Pashto folk song where a female is telling her lover to sport his hair in a certain manner so that he looks good. Bahraam Khan is the name of the man the girl is in love with; although he has a dark complexion yet the girl, confesses her love to him and vows to love him till her last breath. There is a fusion of another folk song to it where the man reassures the woman of his love. A wonderful folk song with a mixture of beats that makes it worth listening to.
Rung – Fareed Ayaz & Abu Muhammad
This is a second version of the same song sung in one of the episodes. Amir Khusro wrote this kaalam in his early years. Hadiqa Kiyani has also sung one of the versions. This was done to show the similarity and variation between the two different versions of the same Qawwali. Traditional music has been experimented with keeping the original intact.
Bolay – Uzair Jaswal
Uzair wants to do pop songs. He is the kind of singer who would enjoy something fun, nothing too loud or hard-core. This is a full upbeat and lively song. Uzair can mostly be associated with sad and mellow songs but for coke studio, he wanted to do something his age and that is where Bolay comes in. Everybody is going to enjoy listening to this song as it has a very energetic vibe.
Kandyaari Dhol Geet – Bohemia and Chakwal Group
A love song written by Aziz Lohar. This song is about love and tragedy; which makes a reference to spiritual love on one end and the people who are fixated on materialism on the other end.
